Winner will be chosen during August 26 contest at Harbor Yard
(Bridgeport, Conn. – August 2, 2010) – The Bridgeport Bluefish have teamed up with McDonald’s to give one lucky fan a chance to be a “Big Mac Big Shot” for a day at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard this summer.
The contest is underway, and runs until Thursday, August 14. One winner will be selected among the entrants for the “Big Mac Big Shot” for a day grand prize, which includes an unforgettable day as a member of the Bridgeport Bluefish on Sunday, September 12. Fans can still enter at any participating McDonald’s location in Fairfield County via entry forms available by displays.
The grand prize winner will enjoy a locker in the Bluefish clubhouse, complete with a full uniform, which the winner will get to keep. During the day, the winner will take batting practice with the club, throw out the first pitch before the ballgame and sit in the dugout during the game. The winner will also have the opportunity to spend an inning coaching first base. In addition, a luxury suite will be provided with 25 tickets for family and friends.
All fans that have filled out an entry form are encouraged to attend the game on August 14 at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard. A live drawing will be held on-field during the contest to pick a lucky winner. The “Big Mac Big Shot” will be announced live in front of all in attendance.
